Greetings, this is a solemn subject worthy of respect, so as a Canadian, I feel for my American cousins affected by this outrage. Things all but ground to a halt here in Halifax for maybe 2 weeks, there was progress, but people were definitely distracted, there was a stillness that crept over the land that surely must have been similar to the start of WWII. You could not hear birds calling or anything like that. 25 of my country men were killed. Stranded American travellers were about, and being put up in this area. I don't subscribe to any conspiracy theory other than they got through and did their worst, which was pretty bad, but could have been a lot worse. When you have OBL himself on TV and saying: "death to America", that's conspiracy enough for me. With all due respect to my American cousins. One thing, do you suppose any of the 9/11 planes had depleted uranium counterweights in them, or were they all newer planes with lead counterweights. If they did have DU counterweights on them, would it make the ensuing fires burn that much hotter?

From the scant information I found, it's use was supposedly discontinued in favour of lead at about the end of the 1980's, so I don't know. They referenced the tidbit that a Boeing 747 had between about 150 to about 400 kg max. I guess that would be about  Oops, I am wrong:

"Trim weights in aircraft
Aircraft may also contain depleted uranium trim weights (a Boeing 747-100 may contain 400 to 1,500 kg). This application of DU is controversial. If an aircraft crashes there is concern that the uranium would enter the environment: the metal can oxidize to a fine powder in a fire. While arguably other hazardous materials released from a burning commercial aircraft overshadow the contributions made by DU, its use has been phased out in many newer aircraft, Both Boeing and McDonnell-Douglas discontinued using DU counterweights in the 1980s."

I don't know how reliable wikipedia is, I have noticed that there is sometimes questionable information in there, that gets vetted out.

"No one will ever convince me it was a plane and not a missle that hit the Pentagon. That hole didn't even have so much as a scratch that the wings or tail made, just a neat round hole. Not the way it works in the real world. I've seen no photo or video footage that makes me think it was a plane. The witness testimony is all over the place and folks near the same spot say they saw exactly opposite of each other."

It did not exactly fall out of the air and hit the Pentagon.  Didn't it kind of glance off the parking lot first?  Some photo that i have seen showed part of a wing.

No it did not. There is absolutely no damage done to the parking lot or lawn near it. Nothing. If you'd do a wee bit of research you'd know that.

Sir, with all due respect i have done the research.   I have seen the non-conspiracy photos and talked with emergency personnel who were there.  It did strike the parking lot before it hit the Pentagon.

After a close investigation of the size of the hole, I have reached the conclusion that it was hit by a W72 warhead attached to an AGM-62WE.  From the evidence and destruction caused, the trigger did not set off the core charge and only the trigger detonated...IMHO

Couple of questions for the conspiracy theorists:

What happened to that missing airplane?
What happened to all the passengers?  Did the US government murder them?
Some body parts were identified from DNA?  Did the feds grind up the bodies?
There are the plane engines with identification numbers putting them on that aircraft.  Did the feds plant the engines in the Pentagon?

Ah, I watched every second of the film and it does not offer any PROOF to any of the Speculation of what happened.  I guess we have to believe the official report and WITNESS TESIMONY on all events of this terrible day.

I for one was watching live here from the West Coast, (Woke up at about 5:30am TV on at 5:45 )to see the mornings news and watched NBCs coverage.  At that time, only one tower was damaged and the reporters were speculating on an accidental crash.

Please, lets not speculate on any of the events anylonger.  If you can provide additional proof or evidence, My mind is still open to you beliefs.  If not.....Let it rest.

Exactly.  i just wanna puke that there are people who believe that our goverment is capable of planting nukes in the Twin Towers, planting explosive charges in the Murrah building, blowing up the Pentagon, and shooting down passenger aircraft over NY.  Then they are incapable of telling you what happened to those folks who were on the plane that they, the conspiracy theorists, say disappeared into thin air.

there is a mountain of evidence and wittness testimony giving creedence to alternative versions of the day and dispproving the official government conspiracy account

While I would agree that there are many wittness testimonials that oppose the official version, I would hardly say that they disprove (or prove) much of anything. Very few actually coincided with each other until conspiracy theorists came along and filled in the gaps.
Dont get me wrong here, I'm not saying the official version is true... just that none of the endless versions I've heard actually make sense.
