U.S. Fire Arms Omni-Potent Six Shooter

:cb2: Does anyone have one of these things? To me it really looks mighty fine. I love the styling. But that price . . . wow. Before I shell out that much loot, I sure want to know something about that gun!

Sure wish it didn't have "OMNI-POTENT SIX SHOOTER" in such big letters down the barrel.

However, it they shoot as good as they look, I'd put up with it.

I don't believe they've entered the market yet.  I had heard a while back production and shipments were expected 4th quarter this yr.   Like you, I could do w/o the large type barrel wording being to obvious but wow, they are a very classy single action.

I've been looking at these in USFA's pamphlet for some time now myself, really nice looking piece...but have never seen one anywhere.
It sems I have read a post of someone who actually ordered one a while back, I could be wrong on that.
I'm breaking in a single action army now I got from them, they make a good revolver, things seem to be made right on the one I got.
Yep...the price is high for sure on the Omni...but it sure looks pretty, and it's kind of original too.

The thing that makes this gun so unique is that they use the hammer & grip-frame from the Colt 1878 DOUBLE action revolver, while all the rest is Colt SAA. If you look for a picture of one, you'll see what I mean, JD45

:cb2: Great news! I got a note back from USFA today, and they said:

"Yes, if a customer requests it a USFA Omni-Potent can be ordered without The Omni-Potent Six Shooter barrel markings and with caliber markings only."

I'm starting to save up for one today!

Good read and nice pictures of a great gun but the words
Omni-Potent do seem rather puzzling So I Looked It Up :)

Omni
"all or Omnidirectional"

I guess that this means that the USFA is going to be Potent
Not only where you are going, but also where you have been :-D
You could also say that it is dangerous no matter where it is pointed.

:cb2: Well, I finally did it. I put my deposit down on the USFA Omni-Potent Six Shooter. The FA83 will have to wait another year or so. They won't start production until the 4th quarter of this year, so I might get it before Christmas. We'll see. My dealer said they were really slow. However, it's a fun gun, not something I need really quick.

Gee, I might be the first one on my block to have one!
