I don't see a 7.62X39 barrel listed as an option.  Can someone please supply me with a link.

Thanks in advance.

They're available, they just don't know if they're going to continue production because everyone wants to shoot milsurp in em and H&R states milsurp shouldn't be used in any of their firearms in the owner's manual. The 7.62 milsurp has hard primers and those that have tried it have had problems with no fires.  The barrel part number is R03490, 22" standard contour.

I have no experience with the 7.62x39 barrels, but my heavy contour .223 has digested a diet of military 5.56 ammo almost exclusively since purchased in 1994 delivering excellent accuracy with ZERO difficulties.

That 'no milsurp' disclaimer from the company is, from a practical perspective for the user, merely over-cautious hedging IMO.

From the practical perspective for H&R however, when you consider the company's history of bankruptcy resulting from product liability suits, it's the only sensible advice to offer.
