Just wondering if i can get the 1895 guide with the pistol grip stock as opposed to the straight one?? i love the look of the pistol grip but have only seen the 1895g with the straight stock..in ss..can i get it blued also..havent owned a marlin lever in almost 10 yrs..sold my 1894 .44 years ago..dearly miss it..btw what about rifling twist rate on 1894 .44s..has that been tightened up yet??..I havent owned a marlin lever in years but am looking into getting one perhaps..kinda miss shooting levers :grin:

The Guide Guns don't come with pistol grip stocks, but you could probably find aftermarket sythetic stocks in the style you want to put on it.

Seems like Wild West Guns, or someone, had take-off factory new stocks and the curved lever needed to convert an 1895/444 to pistol grip. I may be wrong...

I maybe wrong, but I think you'ld need a curved bottom trigger assy, lever, and stock. Might be easier to buy an 1895 and have the barrel and mag cut down.

victorcharlie is correct. The parts are available to do such a conversion. Trigger guard plate, lever and butt stock will do it. A barrel cut and crown, and drill and tap for the front sight should be around $100 on a curved grip 1895.
