place to hunt pd
« on: June 06, 2006, 09:34:13 AM »
Have only hunted p/d one time and really enjoyed it. had planned a hunt this year but the guide we used called to say the plague had caused a big die off and it wasn't worth coming this year.

Any suggestion of places or guides to contact?  Would prefer somewhere in SW Oklahoma, or NW Texas, or even into SE Colorado around Lamar area.

any help would be appreciated.

Good Shooting to You   :-)

There's not any slots left open.

Sorry.

If you want to come out here another time, I can probably hook you up though.

Just bring your gear for a good shootin time.

Around Lamar there's lot's of 'em.

Just drive around til you see the one's you want to shoot up then go knockin on doors.
That's the way we do it around this area.  Not many will turn you down IF you present yourself as responsible. Don't try it doped or drunked up though, they'll call the sheriff.

Another major item about p/dogs in CO. You CANNOT shoot them on public lands. Only on private lands with permission. The anti's got to DoW.

Wish you well, have a safe shoot in OK.

Don't forget the Cinnamon Nat. Grasslands, SW corner of KS. Had a buddy who claimed to have an army buddy who grew wheat just north of the grasslands (and fed more p'dogs than he liked) and we were gonna burn a couple cases of ammo. He had a heart problem and we never went... oh welllllll.... luck
