I'd love to have me one of them!  First  thing I would do is screw a 4 inch .44 barrel onto it and have it re-chambered to .44 spl!  (unless Ruger does it first)  44 Man

Craignok,How's things going down there in Comanche County? I was born in Lawton when my Dad was at Fort Sill. About that ruger,I have one in 357mag and hunt groundhogs with it. My other Rugers ain't seeing much action since I picked this one up. I have used only JHP ,no lead yet.The trigger ,grips etc.. are great.

I bought a pair of 50th Anniversary .357 Blackhawks that I gave to my wife for CAS. Prior to giving them to her, I broke them in with jacketed bullets, did a trigger job, replaced springs, replaced cylinder base pin, and recut the forcing cone. Actually, they were very accurate, and some of the best built Rugers I have seen. Nice smooth chambers to compliment other nice quality.

I've had mine for about a month and a half now. Very fine gun indeed. I first lusted for a FT .44 in 1960 but was to young to buy one then.
