If Grices does not do the 7600 in 358 Winchester this year I am going to have one made. There are a couple of .35 Remington 7600's on the internet. Which is better the 22" or is the 18" ok? MIKE.

My preference would be the 18 1/2 inch barrel in the 358. The handling on these little carbines is great and generally they are slightly more accurate than the 22" barrels. If I were going to go with a 22" barrel, I would go with a 35 Whelen for the extra options as far as velocity, you can easily down load it to 358 ballistics or load it to its potential for added umph if needed/wanted. Hope it works for you.

I'd go with the carbine( I've had a Sav.99F, Sav.99A and a Mauser with a 20" barrel and the shorter barrel handled better )
If Grice comes out with a Rem. in 358 I'd buy one.

I've had both 22" and 20" in .358. If I were going to build one I would go with a 21 "bbl you can match .35 whelen factory vel with good handloads and it makes the rifle (blr) handel better. I also had the 99a and Win 88 in both bbl lengths a 21 is about perfect.
