I have 12 rounds of 6.5x53 ammo.   It is loaded in Norma brass w/ the NP on the primer.   It is not rimmed or semi-rimmed.  I can find no data on this cartridge.

Rim O.D.  .448"     (11.5mm)
Case length    1.950"  (49.5mm)
base to shoulder  1.495" (38mm)
bullet diam    .263"  (6.6mm)
cartridge O.A.L.    2.975"  (75.8mm)
neck length    .305"  (7.6mm)

Metric measurements are approx

It is not the 6.5x53 Dutch (Rimmed) and I don't have a data on the 6.55x53, other than that it is rare.
The  "5" in the 6.5 is smaller than all the other numbers on the case headstamp.
What do I have :?   Any help will be appriciated.

Measurements sound closer to a 6.5 Arisaka than anything else, but I don't believe they were ever marked in that manner. I'll see what else I can find.
