Fed 150 verse CCI 350

Does anyone care to make a comparison of these two?
The loading is for the .45 Colt

Reason being is that again this year, I am giving diff powders a chance
To beat out my Win296 loads for this deer season and I have a good
Prospect.

It may be nessary to bump up my 296 charge weights abit for final testing but I have the Fed 150 primers in them per Hornady data.
To go alittle hotter with the 296, I would go with the Sierra data which calls for a CCI-350.

Hate to change a componet in a load that works so well.
Will the Fed 150 give me enough spark for a good burn with a little extra powder? Overall velocity is projected to be in the mid 11's

110/296 is about the only powders that i will use mag primmers with. Some loads have given better accuracy with std. primmers but these powders can be hard to ignite and i do hunt where temps can be down around 0 and in those cases you need the extra power of the 350s. Your best bet is to stick to what the manuals suggest especially where 110/296 are conserned. They can be finiky powders there not only sensitive to primers but to loading densities too.

The real eye opener were the Temps you spoke of. We can have comparable weather so It will be worth breaking those loads down & building them back up again with the mag primers.
