I may give them a try myself. Let us know how they work for you.  :D

I didn't even know about them. Please post the results of your shooting with them.

Redhawk-

I was wondering if you had tried those Platinum Powerbelts yet?

I posted a topic a week or so ago comparing the SST to the Powerbelt.  I had almost decided on the SST, but I tried reloading one at the range without cleaning the barrel, and had an AWFUL time doing it.  I'm pretty worried about having to reload one in the field if necessary.  I considered taking along Powerbelts in case of a reload.

What do you think about the Platinum's performance on game?  Those things sure load and shoot well.  My good accuracy came with 295 gr Aerotips, and I'm thinking of trying the 338 gr Platinums.  They appear to carry a lot of downrange energy, and I'm wondering if the heavier weight and different jacket may help them to hold together better at close range.  I'm hoping to use 130gr Pyrodex pellets....

To tell you the truth, I sold them to my buddy. I went with the T/C bonded shockwave's. I found a great combination that seems to work well in my Encore. Now all I need to do is see what the bullets will do on game.
