« on: June 25, 2006, 03:21:53 PM »
Has anyone tried one or have any feedback on them. Thinking of trying one in 30.06 and not worry about the weather (rain & snow) anymore.

odds are with the prepared.....

Catman,
I have an XCR in .338RUM and I think its a great rifle.

It shoots great with my handloads and it only weighs about 8.5 pounds with a scope and sling.

I have a friend that works at gander mountain  he said that they would take a key and try to scratch the barrel with it then wipe it with a cloth and there were no marks , showing the customers how goosd the trinyte protective coating was.

Thats got to kick like a mule. 8.5lbs after all is said and done?

Here I am whining that the Sendero weighs only 9 without anything attached  :o I'm still upset they didnt offer it in .338rum this year.
