round count is up to 850 and its still never missed a beat found a couple 1 inch loads for it now. I LIKE THIS GUN. I didnt buy it Mikey i traded my p18 for it. I liked the para but not the double stacked grip frame.  This gun is a tad more accurate and less fussy. You may think i get a new one every week but i do alot of trading. I think theres 9 1911s in the safe right now.

well it made the 1000 round no cleaning test with flying colars and is at about 1200 rounds now without a bobble. One of only 3 out of the box 1911s that have done it without tweaking. Only my gold cup and a kimber cdp 4 inch officers have done it in the past.

Well now, I can see that my post of yesterday went to that great postoffice in the sky.
I like STI's, and do not consider the cost to be excessive-for what one purchases-It is only a little more than a good commercial grade weapon.
I own two STI's and will likely purchase the 3rd in the 38super.
This is a very good weapon.

another 1000 rounds over the last couple days completely trouble free. I guess maybe its time to clean this gun as its getting slippery to hold on to!!
