I can't imagine shells costing that much, $6 to $7 a box is a big price for them. I honestly dunno if Lee makes a loader for them or not. Likely they make some kinda loader for them and the MEC 600 JR is a good one and fairly low priced. You might inquire about a used one on the Classifieds here and other places that cater to shotgunners. I'm sure there are some used ones for sale out there.

If you're willing to settle for 2.5" shells with 1/2 oz of shot you should be able to find them for $6 or less a box.

You can keep checking ebite (aka ebay) for them but they go for about $50. they are sow and do not work well with a formed crimp. for about $100 you can get a mec 600 JR and mine works well.

Your best bet is to save your money and just get a mec 600 JR, and save all the  410 hulls you can get your hands on.
Look at this one on ebite. I have nothing to do with it but jst found it for you

I buy the best shellsI can get for 410 skeet loads( 2 1/2" win HS).  they go for $75 a flat of 10 boxes.  That is about the best price going.  You can get cheaper Estate loads but they don't reload worth a S$#@> .    Because of low voulume and demand 410's are expensive unless you reload.  A new MEC loader 600Jr coast me $100 within the last month.  I looked oll over for used and decided what the heck, In for a penny in for a pound.   I wish I could give you better news.  Lee Load All units are cheaper but after using one for 12 ga loads for 2 years I can't honestly recommed one to  anyone.  They cost about $35 to $40 new.

I just found a guy that will sell me his Mec 600 with ALL the trimmings (shot, shells, bushings, powder, a "sink it's mounted on"??, wads etc) for next to nothing.  I will reload for my Saiga 410, and would like to load slugs.  WHERE IN THE WORLD do you find slugs for the 410?

what do you want to use the 410 slugs for?
Ihave found they are almost useless. If you can get them to shoot stright they may be good for close range coon, fox and  rabbits hunting.

I have a "once in a lifetime" elk hunt planned for later this fall.  ANYBODY can go out and shoot an elk with a high-power rifle and scope...so I am going to try it with a 410 slug, open sights...and my eyes closed. :P

Actually, I want to load some up for coyotes that come up behind the house.  My step-dad has had 2 calves killed (and partially eaten...so we know it was the yotes) last month, and he asked me to come down and try to shoot some.  The problem is, I don't want to risk hitting a cow 200 yards away if I shoot one of my 22 calibers.  I figure a 3" shell with a slug out of my Saiga should do the job out to about 40-50 yards with minimal danger of ricochette.  I plan on feeding the cattle up by the barn to keep them out of the way, but don't want to take any more risk than I have to.

have you thought about using buck shot out of a 12 ga?
I even load .375 caliber round balls in my 45/410 encore barrels and have taken a few coons/opossums  and other same sized critters with them. they do a number on them out to about 30 yards but tend to open up wide further

one of these may be a better choice for your needs

they say THESE will work in the 410 and 28 guage:
http://shop2.mailordercentral.com/bpicart/prodinfo.asp?number=0721641

I thought about buckshot, but was looking for an excuse to run some rounds through the 410.  It seems a little less "invasive" to the neighbors across the highway, especially when the coyotes come through at 2 or 3 in the morning.

I'm also planning on taking it out for dove season.  I have a place in mind where the dove will fly right at you, then dart left or right about 20 yards out...should make for some TOUGH shooting!

I make my own 410 buck shot I am using 4, .350 caliber round balls in my 410 hulls and have taken several opossums and coons with this load and it is about the same noise level as a normal 410

You can see what this round can do

this critter was shot at just under 10 yards while he was on my deck amd d.f.o.r.t. (done fell out right there)
