I'd say 90% of retail is average pricing.  You can find better though.

a 5.5" barrel would help in the accuracy, but I have no issues with 4.25"

I don't have but a picture of one of them on this computer to show.  Its just a 6" 500 WE that I actually bought from a board member here back in January.  Should be a great close up stopper....

Here's one in my favorite grip material, Amboyna burl wood.  It's a .454 Field grade.

Here are a few pictures of some of my Freedom Arms revolvers.

This Freedom Arms revolver was a custom special order all the way. The special features are 6 7/8" octagon barrel, Field Grade finish, Ivory grips scrimshawed with a mountain lion on one side, and a Brown Bear on the left side, and all the accessories French fit in a custom Freedom Arms hard wood case.

This gun I call the Wyoming Cattle brand gun. It was engraved by Bill Johns from Cody WY. He engraved it for me with Wyoming cattle brands. The gun is French fit with accessories in a very rare Freedom Arms Teak hard wood case.

This is a very rare Freedom Arms Hunters Special 1 0f 100. Freedom Arms only had three of them engraved by Dan Paul from Blackfoot Idaho.

This picture is a close up of the left side of the Hunters Special 1 of 100 above

This picture is a close up of the right side of the Hunters Special 1 of 100 above

I will try and get a couple more posted in the next few days. By the way all the guns above are chambered in 454Casull. Enjoy the eye candy. Stevejr454

Even those two itty bitty ones? Like on the buckle and below the big one in that box with the belt buckle gun?  ;D

Very nice collection of guns. I especially like the minimal but tastefully done engraving on the 1 of 100 gun. Those scrimshawed grips are really nice also. What is the material they are made of?

Graybeard, Thank you very much. I forgot to put the info about the Freedom Arms mini guns. They are very rare, the buckle gun is what Freedom called the celebrity buckle, because of the silver and gold plating very few were made. The 3" boot gun was Factory engraved, not sure who the engraver was.

Dan Paul was a very good engraver in my opinion. He did other work for Freedom that I have had the pleasure of seeing. He did animal engraving that rivals the best. To bad he is no longer with us, by now his name would be a house hold name like Linton McKenzie (not sure about the spelling) if he was still alive.

The grips are elephant ivory, and I was told they were installed and scrimshawed at the factory. Karen Walker Freedom Arms employee did the scrimshaw work in the late 80's.

I will try and get some close up pictures of Karen's scrimshaw work. She is one of the best I have seen wish she still did them.

I also forgot to mention that all the Hunters Specials came with real ebony from the factory. If any one is interested I know were one is for sale. It is not engraved, and the person it belongs to wants more for it then I paid for my engraved 1 of 100. Thank you again Stevejr454

Well, here is mine.  More of a working gun than the last pics posted, but I sure like her.  I just got a doe with it using 2400 powder and a Bear Tooth bullet 280 grn WNFPGC sledgehammer bullet.(I did not post powder weights so i should be OK and not violating the rules)  The knife is a custom from J. Neilson.  Leather is from El Paso Saddlery, and sheath was hand made by yours truly.

The engraved Hunters Special 1 of 100 actually 1 of 3 is the only Freedom Arms revolver that I own that is not a working gun. It had never been fired when I bought it, and it remains that way today. The ivory gripped revolver is my hunting revolver. Naturally the ivory grips come off when in the field. Here are a couple more pictures of Freedom guns that are working guns. They were also custom order revolvers with special serial numbers

The serial number is D-MY.454, the grips are Westinghouse micarta Freedom grip option from the late 80's, scrimshaw work was done by Karen Walker Freedom Arms ex employee, and it is cased with a 4x Leupold in a Freedom Arms factory hard wood box. This gun was used in a successful Bison hunting trip two years ago at Elk Mountain Ranch just outside of Laramie Wyoming(it was shot at 25 yards between the eyes).

The serial number on this custom order octagon barreled revolver is D-MY.500. It is chambered in the new Freedom Arms 500 Wyoming Express caliber. This gun was custom ordered by me to match its twin the 454 Casull above.

WOW Stevejr.  That is one amazing collection you have.  congrats on acquiring such beautiful pieces.  They are to be enjoyed as I see you are doing with them.  I hope you have some children, or grandchildren(I know nothing of your age) that you can pass these down to that will treasure and enjoy them as much as you do.  My son who is 7 loves hunting and all the outdoor pursuits, and I am sure he will treasure the items I pass down to him.

Happy Thanksgiving

Been a while so I thought I would post a new picture.  Pictured are my Browning 1886 45-70 rifle, my FA 83 4 3/4 inch 475 and my FA 97 4 1/4 45 Colt.  Both of my FA's are wearing Indian Stag from Eagle Grips and express sights with green fiber front blades. (please pardon the background as I shot the picture in a hurry)

Mine are also pretty basic, but that's what I like. I have a 83 Premier with a 2x Leupold scope, a 97 in .45 Colt and two buckle revolvers, one .22 LR and the other .22 WMR. Love them all.

My 4.75" 500 WE posing and in action. It is a Premier with a round butt and matte finish.

Preparing for a local 50 caliber match, doing load development.

Size comparison with Smith & Wesson 686. The FAs are petite and handy.

Testing new loads, off hand at 15 meters. I do not want to bench this monster. The target happened to be set up at that distance, usually I test loads at 25 or 50 meters.

A friend having fun with the gun.

I have been sitting here, drooling over these beautiful Freedom Arms SA's, then I remembered, I had one....lol    Its a .22 mag.  I used to carry this gun in my shirt pocket as a hide out weapon back in the 80's when I was a CT state cop.  Kicks like a little mule, about a 6 inch flame.....:)

Picked up a couple more pieces of Freedom Arms eye candy over the summer.

This is the left side of a United States Deputy Marshall.

And the right side.

This gun is a very rare Freedom Arms revolver. It was a raffle gun for the Wyoming Territorial Park United States Marshall Museum in Laramie Wyoming. This is a picture of the left side.
