I shot a 240gr bullet with H110 powder. I personally like a Marbles tang sight, but I have always used a grip with my thumb on the side. If you normally grip with your thumb over the wrist, you might need to get used to putting your thumb further back behind the sight stem or position your thumb on the side. For target shooting, I feel the Marbles is the superior sight.  Adjustments between animals are easier. One revolution equals eight clicks or 4.0 MOA in my 24" barreled Rossi. The Williams or Lyman receiver sights have click adjustments that are just too fine. The hash marks are useless for keeping track of where you are. For hunting, I feel the receiver sights are the superior models; they are more compact, won't hang up on brush and are handier. They're for shooting lots, and adjusting not-at-all.
I use a Lyman 17a globe front with Lee Shaver inserts. The inserts that come with the Lyman go in the trash. Much too thick and coarse for silhouettes. Others in our club stick with the original sights. I've been seeing more members lately shooting with one of the Beach's combo sights. Pretty pricey though, running from $70-$140 depending on the brand you choose.
