What is a Thompson Center TCR worth?
« on: July 06, 2006, 06:23:26 PM »
My brother is planning on selling his TCR in 6mm x 30. (30-30 necked down to 6mm - no change in shoulder angle) He has had less than 200 rounds through this tack driving rifle and now he want to buy a G2 in the same caliber.
I have no idea what a TCR is worth especially a one of a kind like this. It shoots 85 grain Sierra varmint bullets into 5/8 inch groups from a muzzle velocity of 3000+ fps.
Anyone have an idea of what it is worth?

At $550 for the complete rifle and $250 for a barrel can you tell me where I can find some barrels? I may just buy this gun from my brother.

Barrels show up once in a while in the classified area here, or even on ebay if you've a mind for that.  Also check the gun auction sites etc.
