I know Poncaguy has one and swears by it. He posted excellent results with the WWB 45gr. The last I checked on price at Walmart was about $220 or so maybe a little more.

My wife bought me one for Christmas last year on sale.  I believe she picked it up new for about $160.00, so look around, there are a few of those good deals out there.  I've shot abut one and a half boxes of the Winchester white box 45 grainers through it and have no complaints.  It shoots better than I do.  I haven't checked the twist rate but the Rossi site lists the heavy barrel to have a 1:10 twist so it should handle the heavier bullets too.
When I have time, I'm trying to work up some hand loads for it with some 55 grainers, but from what I've read about the commercial ammo, it seems that most folks have the best consistency with the Winchester shells with Federal next, followed by Remington, and Wolf at the bottom of the list.  Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Trapper Jack

I like the stock config of the rossi and the price, and now i can add more happy users whose rossi shoots better than the H&R equivelent which costs more. I won't be able to get one until after i get back from basic training (Aug 8 bye bye) but then i'll have $$$$ to play with for a nice scope to mate it to as well.
