Aussie Junior at NRA
« on: July 14, 2006, 02:00:50 PM »
G'Day All
I'd just like to know if anyone met our Junior we sent to the NRA. We are all very proud of his acheivement at the SB Nationals as he came 3rd overall and first in other classes. WELL DONE MATTHEW!!!!!! We are very proud of him as he is also a polite and likable young man and is a asset to the sport.

Unfortunately we couldn't get a team on short notice but maybe some other time we can get some of our other shooters there. Matt tied for last years national champion here in Australia with Dann Suthern and we also have more shooters of their ability.

Our nationals are on from 29th Sept-2nd Oct. 80 shots Air 29th, 80 shots R/F heavy 30th, 80 shots C/F heavy 1st and 40 shot matches for both Hunting guns on the 2nd. We would welcome any International competitors to attend and if doing so and need any assistance don't hesitate to contact me.

Our rule book is available as a pdf through the national web site www.ssaa.org.au just follow the links to the rules. Also my email address is there.

Hope to hear from you all soon
Juddy

Yes, I did get a chance to meet him at the Nationals and yes he is a very likeable young man, and a VERY VERY good shooter.  Missed seeing the rest of you folks there, as we did in Milroy.

I love Australia and hope to get back there someday, as I've been fortunate enough to have been there twice now in the last 3 years. ;D
