300 win mag

who all here uses this for bear? if so what bullets do you use brand and grain and do you reload for it? what powder, velocity and energy are you getting out of it etc.

Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.

I have a Tikka 300 Win Mag and use the 165 gr. TSX. I am using IMR 4350 powder, I don't shoot for  speed, I shoot for accuracy.

got any pics of the gun or of the targets? how much does your tikka weigh what kind of scope do you have on it and what do you use it for? i've noticed not many people post pics of their guns unless they are custom, i know on a guitar site i go on this guy had nice gear but someone tracked his IP and stole most of it supposedly maybe thats why people dont post their rifles much?

I don't take pic's of my guns, never had a need to do so unless I am selling one. I don't know the weight of my current set up, as for the scope, I have a Leupold VaraXIII 3.5X10X50 on it. I have used my 300 Win Mag on Alaskan Caribou, black bear and deer.
