I bought  a Beeman pellet pouch.  You can open it with one hand and it stays open till you close it again.  Works well for me and holds a whole tin with room to spare.  http://www.straightshooters.com/beeman/bleatherpouch.html

well if you have a BREAK ACTION AIR RIFLE in .177cal you can take a pen or mechanical pencil and put pellet in them when you take out the stuff inside them. i use them for my 2200 and the work just like a Magazine.

yeah the work well. you seal up one end and put a eraser on the other end. i got 100 of the and you get about 15 pellet in each one. it works just like a pre load mag for a muzzel loader.

I tryed the round white plastic {bic} pen idea, mentioned above. both ends are the same size. I left the end plug in place. On the first one I whitled A short section of dowel down for the plug it worked fine. On the second one I had a nock from a carbon arrow shaft on my desk. one wrap of masking tape on the insert end and it is a perfect fit.they hold 21 177 pellets each. The nock is easy to get a hold of and with the tape on it it has the right amount of resistance to keep it closed. I am going to take the pocket clip off of some other pens  and put them on these to keep them were they are handy when in use. these are working out great, thanks.  D.C.

I'm headed out to the shop to pick up some cutoffs from my carbon arrows. They're .246 inside diameter ought to be perfect for .22 pellets. Thanks fellas!

I bought an under-barrel cocking Cheapo Chinese .177.  Works OK but is a beast to load with my large hands.  You have to insert the pellet into a well and then into the bbl.  Is there a "dispenser"  that will reach into the well, holding the pellet,  and insert the pellet into the chamber?  Or any Jerry-rig device that has proven effective?    Thanks,   Don

Don,
I occured to me that maybe a straight line capper for black powder might work for holding as well as placing pellets in the barrel for us fat fingered folk. I tried it, but .22 pellets don't fit in my Ted Cash capper. I don't have any .177's to check.

I think a similar type tool could me made to work, but it would take someone with fabrication skills way beyond what I have.

Black Powder Capper:  thats an idea worth pursuing.  I'll try, then post on the results.  Thanks Ed.   Don
