What's your favorite form of carry with your Freedom Arms? Strong side, cross draw, shoulder of across the chess? Picture would be good.

Strong side with one of the FA thumb break holsters.  It is a nice piece of leather, and fits well, no slop or gun movement when carrying.

I haven't carried my M97 yet, just got it this year, however I ordered a strong side holster with the gun and like the way it sits.  Even with a 7.5" barrel the gun's not very heavy, I'd bet a high riding rig with a short barreled 97 would be quite handy.

I carry a Smith 657 in a cross-draw holster from El Paso Saddlery for hunting and like that holster very much.  I imagine I'll get a cross-draw FA holster if I ever buy a M83.

Marsh1. I like the across the chest holster, I have a couple strong side holsters but they are a pain in the neck when you are driving. The across the chest carry is good for riding a horse or driving a four wheeler or riding a motorcycle. I have a tie down strap that goes around my waist to keep it from flopping. This is what i use for my mod.97 and am very happy with it. Have a good day  :)..........Joe.............

I regularly use two different FA holsters.  If I am horseback, I use a strong side belt holster for my 4 1/2 475 83.  If I am driving the truck, tractor or front end loader, I prefer the FA cross draw belt holster.  It gives me great freedom of movement and it is out of the way when I climb in and out of the seat.  For my money, it is pretty hard to beat the fit and quality of the FA leather.  I tried several others who shall remain nameless here and I found that the FA leather was better quality for less money.
