I had one in 30-06 .
Lets see the first shot it ripped the edge off the rim and left the empty cartridge in the camber. Went back to gun shop I purchased it from. They removed case. Measured up ever thing, loaned me a rifle to use while they sent it back to Remington. Chamber was out of tolerance is what they said. Rifle performed flawlessly after I got it back. This was a bad omen in my mind. This rifle was never very accurate. On a cold rifle it would shoot dead on the bullseye, but if you shot it and barrel heated up the gun would shoot all over the place. The forearm had a gap in it under the metal cap, white spacer and wood forearm. You could not tighten the screw that held forearm on the same, therefore it did not shoot back to zero if you took the forearm off. I finally sold the Model 4 for next to nothing to get rid of it. Would I recommend buy another Model 4 NO WAY.
