Lookin for a brass scope
« on: July 23, 2006, 02:40:07 PM »
I'm looking for a brass scope that will mount in standard rings.  I'm wanting to scope my NEF Handi Buffalo Classic.  I want to keep the look, but use a standard set of rings and the factory base.  All I see is the long 18" scopes that require the custom mounts.  Anyone know where I can find such an animal?

thanks,
Ian

I have only seen the 3/4 inch brass scopes, as a matter of fact I have one. It is a tasco 4X15 1860 Replica with the original 3/4 inch rings, but it will not mount on a standard set of rinds. It is 32 1/2 inches long. I am sure a gun smith could help mount it.  Contact me if interested.
