Pardner Pump Slug gun

Looking at buying a pardner pump with a rifled barrel for deer hunting.

Anybody have one of these?  any opinions?

Yeah...They kick lick a proverbial mule...if money is an issue at least try to go with the USH...(Ultra Slug Hunter)

If money is an issue and recoil is not I'd get a tracker2.

If money is the issue as well as recoil, go with the Tracker 2 in 20 ga.

My nephew has a Pardner Pump in sythetic.  He's a tall, slim kid and says it has a bit of a kick to it.  He likes it!  I guess I never looked close enough to notice if the receiver is d&t'd for a scope.  If it is, you might want to think of getting the Pardner Protector.  It comes with a cylinder bore and 18 1/2" barrel.  It would make and excellent slug gun.  Cheaper to shoot, too, as the rifled slugs are less expensive than the saboted slugs.
However,  if you are looking for a "long range" slugger with a rifled barrel,  there is no better choice than the USH in 12 or 20 for the money.

If your looking for a dedicated slug gun that will reach out with accuracy you cannot beat the 20Ga USH,only drawback a single shot ,after using mine for numerous years retired my 870 wingmaster.GL
