I put up a post last June in the hog hunting forum, and it has had replies up to June of this year. Someone posted a reply with a picture of a Canadian First Nations woman who had killed a grizzly with a .22 single shot. She was hunting grouse and saw a bear trailing her. She sat beside the trail, hoping the bear would pass, and popped it in the head with a .22 Long, if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, when the data was migrated to the new format, the part of the thread with the picture of her and the bear's hide was lost. If you want to read what is left of the post and the responses, look for "A Clean Conscience and a .22 Magnum ". I am sorry that I do not remember the woman's name.
