Kolar Shotguns
« on: July 25, 2006, 08:01:52 AM »
Graybeard, When you talked about your bad shoulders I was wondering if you have had the oppertunity to shoot a Kolar O/U. A friend of mine shoots one in skeet competition and he let me shoot it recently. I was amazed at how little recoil I felt compared to my Beretta. It reminded me of my A-5 because of the weight but was perfectly balanced. Of course it will greatly lighten your pocket book also. Several of the guys I have shot with have sponsered shotguns from Kolar. I should have mentioned it was a 12 gauge shooting 11/8 ounce loads.

Nope I've never shot one, in fact I've not even seen one in use when I was on the range around here. The guy who I buy all my guns from shoots one tho, I'm sure I could try his if I ever found myself on the range with him but then he shoots at different ranges than I do. I've just given up on the 12 for now. I'll stick with the 28 as my primary gun and the 20 and .410 for a change up from time to time. In the morning when I go I'm taking my 28 and .410 both.
