Recommend decent "red-dot" scope...
« on: July 25, 2006, 11:27:39 PM »
Does anyone make a good red-dot type scope in the $200-250 price range?

I'd like to try one on my Guide Gun for close up pig hunting.

It would have to be able to take a good recoil pounding as I load the .45-70 with some rather "stiff" load (these are BIG hogs) ;D

Thanks!

michauxii,

For $305 you can get a Burris LRS for your needs.  SWEET!!!!!  I hunt at night for them old nasty hawgs and this is the best I have found.
