Horton with scope
« on: July 26, 2006, 02:06:32 AM »
I have had good luck with my Horton, but don't like the way the scope mount can be raised and lowered.  I realize that this probably worked well with the peep, but I'm always worried that I might change the setting and not realize it.  I use a cocking device and sometimes my hand moves the dial on the side.  I always try to zero it after I cock, but could easily forget to.

I think that is a interesting feature that Horton has. I have a friend that has one and he forgot to move it back too for closer shooting. All I can say is you will have to get into the practice of checking it after you c-o-c-k the xbow.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

I have heard that from a good many Horton shooters. Some have said they even work loose. Just keep a check on it just like making sure the safety is on!
