Hey carl, he's not even listed in the hunting outfitters section of our non-resident guides list. he has a fishing operation, and it seems he offers hunts after the fact.I called another outfitter friend of mine, and he told me he didn't know anything about his non-res. hunting. Not to mention he only has one picture of a bear on his website?? he doesn't offer much in the way of ammenities at his "lodge". I guess it depends on what your looking for. do you want a backwoods camp, or a full blown they do everything include wipe my bum for me hunt? if you can be more specific on what you want, I can list the outfitters who provide what you want. Are you set on the winnipegosois area? lots of bear hunting in the province, so just specify what your looking for.

Up North, I'm just looking for a clean place to stay, decent food and a hot bait with a decent stand to sit in plus someone to help me skin and freez the hide. I'm looking at him as his price is more reasonable than the outfitters I used to hunt with at Riding mt. Park. I know I won't see many bears there but I also know there are some big one's in the area. I contacted 5 guys that hunted there last Spring and they went 5 for 5 with 2 over 500 lbs. I'm a long time experienced bear hunter but I'm still on the fence about this one. I went to a camp in 2004 just a few miles north of winnipeg. The guide only had 3 baits and didn't help with the skinning but I killed the 2004 Manitoba record for a non resident the first night in the rain. So I guess you never know. Now that I'm retired I have to save to go every two years instead of every year like I used to, so I'm a little cautious about getting a bad hunt. I've been ripped off several times over the years but only once in Manitoba.  Any more infor you might get would be greatly appreciated.
