Gods perfect peace

On Tuesday of last week I learned my Mom had had massive stroke, she lay in the bathroom for 3-4 days before she was found. The doctor told the family in Columbus she was brain dead when she first had the stroke. She lay in a coma until 2pm on Friday when she left this physical world. You see I was estranged from my Mom for 15 years and had not spoken to her in all that time, yet I still had a son's love regardless of what I spoke, my heart knew better. Going home was the hardest thing I have done in my 56 years of life. I asked myself a simple question, " What would Jesus do?", the answer was a very simple one he would have returned to his home and mother. Monday at the funeral I nearly lost it, save for the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Lord's Prayer was being played on the organ and I sang it to myself, then the Pastor read the 23 Psalm and the Peace that passes all understanding washed over me and my Savior wrapped his arms around me and I knew then that all was well. I normally wouldn't share this but I needed to share Gods Love with you. In our darkest moments he is there to ccomfort and strengthen us. We just need to allow him in and listen to that still small voice that we so often ignore. This is also a tribute to my Mom, may she rest in arms of Jesus and have eternal peace.        God Bless,

Ec 3:11    He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
      
Ec 3:12   I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
       
Ec 3:13   And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
      
Ec 3:14   I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.    
   
Ec 3:15   That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
       
Ec 3:16    And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.    
   
Ec 3:17   I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.    
   
Ec 3:18   I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts
   
Ec 3:19   For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.    
   
Ec 3:20   All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
      
Ec 3:21   Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
      
Ec 3:22   Wherefore I perceive that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his own works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him to see what shall be after him?
