Dan Wesson vs Ruger Super Redhawk
« on: July 27, 2006, 01:11:00 PM »
the idea of being able to change barrels, appeals to me. I  have been using Rugers, SRH, SBH  .44'S.  How does the D.W. .44 MAG compare to the SRH, as to cylinder length, heavily loaded ammo, trigger  pull and accuracy?

Approximately the same size, just as strong if not stronger and more accurate than the SRH.  They are both fine guns, but I woulod choose the Dan Wesson over the SRH everytime because of the versatilty and accuracy.

I just traded a Ruger Redhawk blued 7.5 inch .44 mag for the Dan Wesson blued Monson 8 inch .44 mag.  I am glad I did.  The Ruger double action was smoother than Dan Wesson but overall trigger is smoother with the Dan Wesson.

All my revolvers are now Dan Wesson.
