recoil pad rem. model 1100 light 20 ga. magnum
« on: July 28, 2006, 01:10:29 PM »
hello;

have a rem. model 1100 lt 20 ga. magnum.  need to reduce the lenght of the stock from 14" to 13".  cutting is no problem.  the question is the rem. recoil pad.  the pad looks nice.  if i start triming the pad to fit the stock will i run into a metal plate or void built into the pad?  thanks for any input.

Your best bet would be to take this gun to a gunsmith and have him look at it. I'm not exactly sure doing something like this yourself is the best thing.
