I have a Knight Disc...22 inch barrel...I would love to have one in 24 or 26 inches...I just like the design...I actually prefer the disc to straight 209s, because they are easy to install and remove from the gun, I like the extra screw safety, for pulling the gun up in the tree and I also like a good, crisp adjustable trigger, like the Disc has...Only thing I don't like is the poor design of the buttstock...
I feel that Knight has done a poor job of marketing their rifles, I don't care that I have an extra step or two to clean a gun...I don't mind cleaning guns...I don't like an Omega because you can't adjust the trigger, its harder to remove and reinstall a 209, to pull up a tree and when you close the trigger it makes a loud pop...And Omega bores are notoriously "tight"...With a Knight, you just screw out the safety and you are ready to hunt...
When I found out that Knight was no longer making the Disc rifle, I went out and bought 300 of the discs (I also reuse these 2-3 times) and also tried to buy a 24 or a 26 inch barrel...If my gun was taken/lost whatever tomorrow...I would start looking for a good used one...with the longer barrel...
