sure do.   There are essentially infinite combinations for this caliber and it's really a fun pursuit.  What are you going to hunt with it and what rifle do you have?

Deer, Boar, Black Bear, Moose etc.  I have some loads now Reloder #7 seems best for 350, 405 and 420 lbt slugs.  I waas wondering if anyone used different powders.  I also use 3031.

Neck size brass, bell case just enough for bullet to seat without shaving
405 gr at 30/1
load as cast, pan lube with SPG
72 gr GOEX 2f
3/16 felt weatherstrip wad
compress sufficiently for bullet to seat to crimp grove

Will give 1 to 2 inch groups for 5 shots at 100 yards.  No cleaning or blow tube.  It will anchor your listed game most satisfactorily.  Clean up takes 5 minutes max.

I load the Cast Performance 405 grain WLNGC in my Guide Gun w/ H322 to about 1500 FPS. At that velocity, recoil is not bad (I don't have a ported barrel) and it will clobber any large hog or black bear. I see load data pushing that bullet to 1800 - 1900 FPS and I ask "why"...you don't have to run them that fast to be effective.  Recoil gets noticeably heavier above 1650 FPS.  At 1900 FPS, it's probably unbearable but I've never loaded any that hot.

Bigboar,
You aren't likely to improve on Reloader 7 for your goals here.  It's not the only good powder for the caliber by a long shot, but it's versitile and useful for a variety of loads.  As you've noted, it works well with a broad spectrumof bullet weights.

3031 is my favorite. I use 53.0 grains with a 300 jacketed as a standard deer killer. I have used 53.0 with a speer 405 and it shoots great
but is more than I need ( it's a max load in my Speer manual and gives a good shove ).
50.0-3031 with my 400gr L.B.T. mould is a good load as is 27.5gr. AA5744.

I am reloading some 405 gr. cast WLNGC from Montana Bullet Works, over 49.0 gr. of H322. COAL 2.550. Stout round, but very accurate.

Based on a guy's info on one of the forums, I tried BL-C(2) with a WLNGC 405 bullet from Cast Performance.  With 56 grains I got a little over 1600fps with my ported Guide Gun and very good accuracy (1.5" group with 4x scope at 100 yds)
