Larry does having a new barrel installed on a DX, void the accuracy guarentee?

As long as S&W shop does the work, everything is fine.  They will not void your warranty.  Why.

Thinking of going that route?  I have a 6 and 1/2" barrel on mine and am very happy.  The extra length can help, but not by much I should think.

Thank you Lawful Larry.
I have other Classic DX's and this one wasn't my favorite. I needed a donor gun for the barrel so it bravely volunteered.
I have a real liking for the 7.5" barreled 29/629's and have several different ones.

Broom Rider,

Good looking guns!  Where did you get the pistol racks?

TIA,

Paul,
Can't say about the others, but I got mine from Cabela's.  They were about $25 bucks or som but don't quote me on that.  They were in the Shooting catelog.

My father got a bunch of those years back direct from the manufacturer. They're available from Brownell's.

Excellent looking weapons here! While I'm not much of a collector, I've accumulated a few shooters. All of my weapons receive hard use through hunting, practice or general carry, so here's a shot of my handgun assortment, along with one of my favorite coyote rifles...
