Yep, I have Piettas and Ubertis.  Nothing at all wrong with the Piettas at all.  What do you need to know?

just my 2 cents worth, get a steel framed gun and you will be much better off!
These guns are a lot of fun to shoot and are a challenge to rise to meet! :)

I've had both, and between the Uberti and Pieta, I've had less trouble out of Uberti.  Then again the best shooting cap gun I've got is a 51' navy pieta.  The Uberti's are a little more authentic though and usualy a little better gun.  That said they have both produced dogs and I've gotten dogs from both.  If the price isn't too much differance I go for the Uberti.  Just my opion.  Your millage may very.

If I was going to buy a Pietta made single action, it would be the Great Western II/Charles Daly SAA replica.  From what I've seen and heard from other folks competing in SASS, those seem to be some of Pietta's best.  Otherwise, I'd lean towards Uberti.  I've owned several Uberti's, and have no complaints beyond one poorly fitted grip panel on a '58 Remington replica.
