sight screw size?

I removed the sights on my huntsman.  I'm buying Forster plug screws to fill the holes, but I don't know the size.  6/48, 8/40 or 10/32.  Thanks, Ian

The other current H&R rifles use 6x48, but they have also used smaller screws in the past on the front sight. Maybe someone that has one can tell ya for sure. Busta?? ;D
