Measuring Barrel Temperature [LCD Stick-on]?
« on: August 06, 2006, 02:59:45 PM »
Hi,

Last session at the range benchresting a single shot 7-08, I found myself waiting 2-3 minutes between shots and feeling the barrel and wondering just how hot it was and how hot it should be allowed to get. [I suppose the important temperature is that of the bore.]

And I wondered if there was a stick-on LCD thermometer in a useful range [~50 Celsius?] and if any of the greaybeard readership had tried such a thing.

Help!

Sincerely,

Ficus
