There are literally dozens of brand names out there that are all made in China, and given whatever name the importer wants. Hardly a new practice, been going on both inside and outside the USA for decades. The ones I saw listed at the Knife Outlet were stated to have 440 blades; undoubtedly 440A. Not a great steel, but better than the ones you find on your average Case knife. A lot depends on how well the blade is heat treated and how well the knife is put together overall...and I can't answer that.
