Bushnell centurion scope
« on: April 07, 2003, 04:03:17 PM »
I purchased a Bushnell centurion scope at a gun show over the weekend. It has a 2.5 power booster on it. It looks like new and was $35 bucks with the rings. I have done a cursory internet search and can find no info on either the scope or booster. Has anyone used or know anything about either item. I also purchased a 44 mag. barrel with what looks like a "howitzer" type muzzle brake on it. I was told it cuts recoil by 75%. Any info appreciated. thanks Scott

check out www.eabco.com..it sounds like one of E.A.Brown's muzzle brakes.

I have a couple of 22-250 eabco barrels in Encore with the JP muzzle brakes.  Recoil is 0, but there is a tremendous amount of pressure and air pushed to the sides and back.  It takes a while to get used to the air hitting you.  The air pressure is far worse to each side of the shooter, more so than to the shooter themselves.
