Anyone have experiance with the Tasco EXp scopes ?  I am considering the 1-5x33 for mounting on a 12ga slug gun.

How do they hold up, construction qualities, ect .

Thanks

I wouldn't recommend that particular model (granted I don't like any of the tascos, but I must admit that 2 of them are actually fine - or at least were before the company went out of business.)

As for this particular model, I have seen it fail when mounted on a .270.  Specifically, the scope simply would not hold zero and tracking was sloppy.  A slug gun kicks more than a 270.  As such, I wouldn't recommend it.

I don't have one but thought they were pretty neat when they first came out. But I have also heard several stories about them falling apart in the field. I would look for some thing better.  KN
