BP load for .32 S&W?
« on: August 14, 2006, 05:54:44 PM »
Gang - Am looking for Black Power loading for the pre 1899, S&W .32. Also, is there a way to track serial # to production date?

Are we talking about the 32 S&W cartridge or the old 32-44 S&W Target black powder cartridge?  I just might have something around on the latter.  It was used in the big 44 frame tip up.

Unspellable - Talking .32 S&W, little predecesor to the .32 S&W Long. Not much of a man-stopper, but fun to shoot.

For BP, fill the case enough for the bullet to slightly compress the charge. I would use 3F. BP needs some compression for best results.
