I see a couple of vendors have these listed on their sites now as available in the near future . Would anyone have the specs on these ? They are not up on the Bushnell site as of yet.

I would be particulary interested in the eye relief , as I am looking to scope a .375 shortly ...........

All other features are the same as the Elite 3200 Series. Also, our distributor just received a few of these to ship. Hope this helps out.

That's a pretty good size for such a big game rifle. I know that the Elite 4200s have been tested up to 10,000 rounds of a .375 H&H but the 3200s have been tested to only 1,000 rounds. Well, even 1,000 rounds of a .375 is a lot, but I really wonder if that particular 3200 will withstand to the hard recoil. Put in other words, I guess that I would have to see it to believe it. I know that the 4200 has a similar magnification scope, but it only has 3" of eye relief - that's just way too short for a big gun like the .375.

The 10,000 rd. / 1,000 round comments are just marketing. They both have the same hammer-forged tube / rainguard / warranty. The primary distinctions are better glass in the 4200 and a 4:1 power range.

The firefly reticle in new for Bushnell this year. It has a luminated material on the reticle that allows you to shine a flashlight into the scope and it will make the reticle glow for those low light situations.

Yes, I too agree that there is quite a bit of marketing involved with recoil tests.

I also believe that the tube is the same. However, what about the internal parts? Are they all the same as well. If it's only a matter of better optics and 4x zoom range, then I won't be worried at all.

I wouldn't worry!

Same hammer forced titanuim tube, same sealant + screws for lenses, same erector mechanism, same Rainguard. Same warranty. Made in the same plant, L.O.W. The extra $$$$ is for better glass, 4:1 zoom range, and two extra lenses.

Well heck, maybe I ought to give the Elite 3200 a try on my .375 H&H. But I must ask - you seem very knowledgeable about this specific topic - where did you get your info from?
