I'm in Bell County, Ft Hood area. I know of a couple ranges but no competitions. The longest range I've heard of is between here and Waco, haven't been there yet but I'm told it goes out to 600 yrds.

It depends on where u are  west Texas is a big place  abilene gun club does a little midland has an heck of a nice set up depending on what your into abilene has CMP and a little benchrest and highpower midland has it all san angelo does benchrest
