I picked up a Marlin 3082 Cavalry Commemorative 30/30 rifle from a gun show yesterday. I was looking for a 336 and found this one, which has some engraving on the stock and forearm, and it was only $240. I was wondering if anyone has a year of manufacture for these and any perceived problems with the 3082 model? Any information on them?
