No 25-06s at the factory

Just got off the phone wanting to make sure they had what I wanted.  None of the 25-06 are available.  I was wanting to send in for a 25-06 and 35 whelen.  No what do I do?  Wait, or just get the whelen.  I just started gettin the bug for a 25 cal, never had the interest before.

It took 9 weeks to get my .25-06 barrel, I just waited, maybe they'll come in while they're fitting the 35 Whelen barrel and the wait won't be so long after all. If it doesn't, you can always call and have them cancel the .25-06 barrel and just return it with the Whelen in time for hunting with it. ;)

I picked up a 25 06 ultra hunter from sportsmans 2 weeks ago. Went back sat and they had another one on the shelf. If you want another rifle check with them if you have one in your area.
I bout the new one cause one of mine is at h&r getting a 357mag barrel and a new stock. That was a good enough reason for me to get another one ;D

I second what Quick says...send it in and hope the 25-06 comes in before they are done with the Whelen...

they basically said, not soon for the 25-06, I said, months?, she affirmed.  There are none on the way to the factory.

Maybe the best solution is to make a post in the classifieds section here.  After looking for several months I finally came up with one from one of the locals here recently.  If you can find one, you will love it.  Mine has already become my pet.
