.30 Carbine loads
« on: April 09, 2003, 02:11:06 AM »
Does anyone have any loads for the .30 carbine using the Remington 110 grain soft point bullet?

I would think the M1Carbine would be a fun 100 yard coyote and fox gun with a 5 round mag.

There is a lot of info available @www.handloads.com
The first one I saw for the .30 carbine was: 15gr of Win 296 for 1980fps with the 110gr bullet. I have some data somewhere using H110 which is also a fine powder for that round. I own a military surp. carbine in excellent shape but haven't shot it much. I have shot several examples of these weapons over the years in and out of the military. I have my doubts that you will find one that will shoot "Minute of Coyote" @ 100yds.
Good luck and stay safe,
