Does anyone know if the g-2 barrels be modified or reworked to fit the Contender frame? Thanks Steve

They are interchangable - some minor fitting may be required of the locking lugs.

I belive that most of them fit. I have heard SOME may require fitting but I have not seen any that require it. I think the idea of the G2 is just to be a better Contender. I have a G2 and an older custom SSK Bbl. in .358jdj(frome 1986 I think) and it fits realy well on my G2. If you are concerned about a particular bbl. contact T/C.

G-2 Muzzleloader barrels have an additional part that prevents them from fitting an older style frame.  The rest require no more fitting than moving barrels between any frames.  Even with my old Contender once in a while I had to fit locking bolts on some barrels to make them work.  It is not uncommon with some of the earlier barrels to need work to get them to work with later frames.  Fortunately it it not hard.
