Does anyone know if gold has ever been found in Oklahoma? Did some panning in Alaska about ten years ago and had a lot of fun. May try it here just for fun.

Was told by an old timer that gold was found in the Lake Murry area years ago, don't know if true though

Have been told that gold has been found in every state except maybe Hawaii.
Don't know for sure.

Don't know about any gold but those rocks from outer space are all over central Oklahoma and they are worth a lot............!
