Howdy!...
I'm a 59 year old "gunner" that's been at it, in one fashion or another, for half a century now....small and big game hunting; competitive trap, skeet, benchrest rifle, highpower rifle, rimfire and centerfire handgun have all held my interest at one time or another, plus the reloading of the ammo for all the centerfire stuff.
In my more salad days, I was a proud member in good standing of the "gun of the month club"...being an avid gun swapper/trade maker/deal swinger. LOTS of good, quality stuff came and went that still embarasses me to think about today....if I could bring a few of them back I wouldn't still be kicking myself late at night!!
I must confess that the gun dealin' flame doesn't burn as hot as it used to...I hung up my competitive needs 20 years ago...and I haven't killed anything for sport since 1990...but I still enjoy talking guns and shareing thoughts with others that feel the same. I spend most of my free time off woods bummin' with my 5 dogs, who seem to enjoy being out there as much as I ...never found another person that seemed to enjoy it like they do! Today..I do more looking and "seeing" than I do shooting, if you know what I mean!
